It has been said that your life's dream will ultimately define your life. You may be looking to attain a certain job, or maybe even a certain position at an organization. Maybe you are just looking to enjoy your family or maybe you want to build a great company.
Life is no doubt the stuff of dreams.
The question is this, as you set goals and achieve them, are the dreams worth the investment that you put into them. I have seen many people give the heart and soul to a career. They miss vacations, they loose family members, they get divorced all so that they can stay focused on the job. Then one day the job is no longer there. The job may say "we don't want you anymore."
Now you are left with reduced family, reduced hobbies, and reduced life.
When it is all said and done do not sacrifice your life and miss it at the same time. Think hard of what your purpose is and who it includes.
Remember what Paul said in Acts 26:19, "I was not disobedient in the heavenly vision."
Maybe it's time to turn to God and discover what He wants you to do.
